values
Prayer :: Fasting :: The Bible
Every one is a Five Star Person - We want to instill the concept that everyone is valuable to God: From the homeless to the millionaire, from the newborn to the senior adult.
WE believe in taking time for the one just as Jesus left his flock to find the lost sheep. The one is just as important as the many. If we can take care of the one, then when the many come they will all be taken care of.
Adaptability - To be able to improve the method of ministry to better meet the needs of our culture and the people that live in it at any time during the life of this church.
Note: Due to the rapid nature of change in our culture, we as a body must be able to make modifications, without losing momentum, to better serve and lead the people in our church and city.
Higher Quality of Excellence - Raising the bar of excellence, We will start at excellence and build from there.
Communication Friendly - We will make our ministry as efficient and accessible as possible. Our goal will be to answer any question some one may have as quickly and as easily as can be. Spiritual and Common
Purpose - To instill solid values that will produce the maximum outcome for the future. The proper perception people have in the beginning stages is vital to long term health as a body of believers.
5 star mission statement
Star 1 - Be a 21st century church Teach the full gospel and exercise technological capabilities. We will preach the full gospel of Jesus Christ and experience the power of Pentecost while being sensitive and understanding to the nonbeliever and unchurched person. We will utilize the modern technology that captivates this generation in order to draw the nonbeliever and embrace the people of the 21st century.
Star 2 - Win the lost and unchurched people in our city and world for the kingdom of Jesus Christ .
To win means to do what ever we must to overcome the opposition.
2.5 - To enrich ever life of those entrusted to us by investing in the personal journey of finding their purpose and flowing in their ministry calling.
Star 3 - Display true I Corinthians 13 Love. We will show the world what true Christ –like love is. We want to show: a pure love, a love that is not waiting on a level of satisfaction before reciprocating, a love that is unconditional, fresh and everlasting, an active love, a love that shows forgiveness.
Star 4 - Enjoy the benefits of lives that are producing the fruit of the spirit. It is imperative that we produce the fruit of the spirit in order to strengthen our witness to the world and become a strong influence. The fruit of the spirit is one of the greatest keys to unity within the church. This spiritual fruit is a gift that is given to others when they see our responses to difficult, stressful situations, our maturity in dealing with risky ministry outcomes, and personal development of the young in faith.
Star 5 - We will experience hope fulfilled by the supernatural powers of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the only way to restore hope will come through the demonstration of the Spirit’s power. It’s the Spirit’s freedom that will bring peace to a troubled soul, answers to the questioning mind, purpose for the drifting heart, hope for the hopeless, healing for the sick in body, and the Cross of Jesus for the seeking. Our worship experiences will be balanced but not restrained; orderly but not contained..
philosophy
The local Church is The Hope of The World
"The world is constantly looking for a better way; a better way to do business, to raise children, to have a healthy body, to get help for their marriage, to find purpose, etc. There are a lot of ways to do these things but, I believe, Jesus is the best and only way. It is our responsibility to lead those who are searching to the Rock that is higher than we are. If we fail to lead them then all hope is lost, and where there is no hope there is nothing. I believe we are to be that hope for this world and to demonstrate the ways of Christ to those around us."

foundational beliefs
- God There is one God, who exists as three co-equal persons living in perfect community—Father, Son and Spirit. God created everything and sustains everything by His life. He is eternal, holy, always present, all-powerful, all-knowing, unchanging and full of mercy and grace. (Deut. 6:4; 2 Cor. 13:14). Jesus Christ, God's Son, became fully human when He was born to the Virgin Mary. He was fully human and fully God. He lived a perfect life in place of our imperfection. He voluntarily died on a cross to pay the price for our sins and then rose again thereby allowing us the possibility of a renewed relationship with God. He offers us full life by the promise of his own resurrection. He then ascended into heaven and today is our representative, intercessor, and advocate with God the Father. John 1:1, 2, 14; Luke 1:35, Rom. 3:24; 1 Peter 2:24; Eph. 1:7; 1 Peter 1:3–5, Acts 1:9, 10; Heb. 7:25, 9:24; Rom. 8:34; 1 John 2:1–2).
- The Holy Scriptures The Bible is God's completely true and inspired Story about who He is, what He has done, what He is doing and what He will do. It was given by God to human writers and so reflects their backgrounds, styles, and use of language. The Bible is the final authority on all matters to which it speaks. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Matt. 5:18; John 16:12,13).
- The Fall of Man (Rom. 5:12 ) We believe that man was created in the image of God, but that by voluntary disobedience he fell from perfection.
- Basis of Salvation (John 3:16 ; Rom. 5:8 , Rom. 10:9-10 ) We believe that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, signing the pardon of all who believe on Him and confess Jesus Christ as their Lord.
- Salvation Through Grace (Eph. 2:8 ) We believe that before salvation we have no righteousness of our own and must come to God through the righteousness of Christ.
- Repentance and Acceptance (I John 1:9 ) We believe that upon sincere repentance and a wholehearted acceptance of Christ as Lord, we are justified before God.
- The New Birth (Cor. 5:17 ; Gal. 2:20 ; John 3:5-7 ) We believe that the change which takes place in the heart and life at conversion is a literal one and is the result of being born of the Spirit of God.
- Daily Christian Life (Heb. 6:1 ) We believe that it is the will of God that we live a sanctified and holy life, growing constantly in the Faith.
- Water Baptism (Matt. 28:19 ) We believe that baptism by immersion, in water, is an outward sign of the inward work of salvation.
- The Lord's Supper (I Cor. 11:28) We believe in the commemoration of the Lord's Supper by the symbolical use of the bread and the juice of the vine.
- Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8 ; Acts 2:4 ) We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is to endue the believer with power, and that His empowering is after the same manner as in the Bible days.We believe in the post-salvation experience of Spirit Baptism which is evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit enables us. We believe the church should operate in the fullness of the Spirit as the first century church did in the book of Acts. (John 16:8–11; 2 Cor. 3:6; 1 Cor.12:12–14; Rom. 8:9; Eph. 5:18) (Acts 1:8; 2, 4, 8, 10, 19 ; 2 Corinthians 3:17 ; John 16:7-13 , 14:16-17 ; Galatians 5:25 ; 1 Corinthians 2:12 , 3:16 ; Ephesians 1:13 , 5:18).
- The Spirit-Filled Life (Eph. 4:30-32 ) We believe that it is the will of God that we walk in the Spirit continually.
- The Gifts and the Fruit of the Spirit (I Cor. 12:1-11; Gal. 5:22-23 ; Rom 12:6-8 , Eph. 4:11-13 ) We believe that the Holy Spirit has gifts to bestow upon the Christian and that we should show spiritual fruit as evidence of a Spirit-filled life.
- Moderation and Balance (Phil. 4:5 ) We believe that all truth must be balanced with other scriptural truth in order to avoid any extreme or fanaticism, and we believe that moderation should show forth in our daily walk as a believer.
- Divine Healing (I Peter 2:24; Matt. 8:17 ; Matt 18:18-19 ; James 5:14-16 ; I Cor. 2:9; Mark 16:15-18 ; Matt. 24:25 ; Mark 13:31 ; Luke 21:33 ) We believe that divine healing is the provision of Christ to heal the sick in response to the exercise of faith, the prayer of faith, the prayer of agreement, anointing with oil, the gifts of healing or the laying on of hands. We believe that this provision of Christ is for everyone today.
- The Second Coming (I Thes. 4:16-17)We believe that the second coming of Christ is literal and inevitable.
- Church Membership (Acts 16:5 ; Heb. 10:5 ) We believe it is our sacred duty to identify and actively participate with the local and visible church of Christ .
- Civil Government (Rom. 13:1-5 ) We believe that the laws of the land should be upheld at all times except in matters opposed to the Word of God.
- The Final Judgment (2 Cor. 5:10 ; Rev. 20:11-13 ) We believe that all shall stand one day before God in final judgment, and there receive eternal reward or eternal judgment.
- Heaven (John 14:2 ; Rev. 7:15-17 ) We believe that Heaven is a literal place, eternally existent.
- Hell (Rev. 20:10 , Rev. 20:15 ) We believe that hell is a literal place of eternal torment for all who reject the Lord Jesus.
- Evangelism (James 5:20 ; Mark 16:15 ; 2 Cor. 5:18-21 ) We believe that soul-winning is the Great Commission given to the Church.

pastor

Amy and I have been married for 9 years. We have two wonderful children Madelyn (7 years old) John Garrett (4 years old). We have been in full time ministry for over 10 years. God has used us in many different areas of ministry such as Master’s Commission, church planting, evangelism, overseas missions work, youth and children’s pastor. Now God has placed it in our hearts to plant a new work in Madison, AL.
Our deepest passion is to see the un-churched and non-believer come to the realization that Jesus is the only and the best way for their life. We also know the essence of equipping the believer for the work of the kingdom is a core function of the local church’s existence. Amy and I have embraced this call with faith, to plant a life giving church in this community. With your prayers we will see this hope in our life become a reality. "Become hope fulfilled"
